Our commitment

We build this site to target WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is a target we work toward continuously, not a certification we claim to have finished.

What that means here

• Text contrast is checked against the 4.5:1 minimum, including type set over photography
• Filters, menus and interactive controls are reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
• Every meaningful image carries descriptive alt text; decorative images are marked as decorative so screen readers skip them
• Charts and diagrams never rely on colour alone — the flavour profiles are readable in greyscale
• Recipe content is in the page markup, not assembled by JavaScript, so assistive technology and text-only readers get the whole thing
• Motion respects prefers-reduced-motion
